A programmatic way to automate testing Failover with Aurora DB cluster?

Question

Quick question, we are running load tests and wanted to include testing failovers. Current we manually have to hit a button in the RDS dash board, but is there any programmatic way to do this easily, using say C++ , REST or GRPC

Yes, either you can use API call for [FailoverDBCluster](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/APIReference/API_FailoverDBCluster.html) or use AWS CLI command  [failover-db-cluster](https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/rds/failover-db-cluster.html?highlight=aurora%20failover).
