The WorkSpaces client option to keep you logged in prevents you from needing to continuously enter in your username/password when reconnecting - it does not keep the WorkSpaces instance continuously running, even when you're disconnected. Note that the WorkSpaces instance hibernates only when you have disconnected and the configured duration (default 1 hour) has elapsed.
