How to resize CentOS partition after increasing volume capacity?

EC2 instance with cPanel & CentOS running when ran out of disk space. Using the volume modification option, I increased the size of the volume, but the ClearOS won't change its partitios automaticly, so system is stucked.

How do I increase the partitios ofter a volume modification?

Assuming you cannot start the instance, you should detach the root volume and attach it to another dummy/test instance. The idea is to increase the file system size manually. Once that is done, you can re-attach the volume to the original instance and start-up.
