"DDL execution timed out" when trying to DROP Iceberg table after the S3 folder has already been deleted

There seems to be a bug in Athena:

If you create an Iceberg table, insert some data, delete the S3 folder, then try to DROP the table, you will get this error:

DDL execution timed out.

Example Query id: 2421d2fe-7590-4129-ba37-481ff931fa1a

Is there a workaround for this? I really want to drop these old tables.
