Billing support case unassigned for over a week while payment attempts continue to fail. How much longer should I expect to wait until I get a response?

I apologize for posting here, but I’m unsure how else to get assistance.

On Friday, August 28, 2026, I opened a billing support case regarding payment of an invoice exceeding $2,000. I am not disputing the charge—I want to pay it and need assistance completing the payment.

More than a week later, the case is still marked “Unassigned.” Meanwhile, I continue to receive emails stating that payment was unsuccessful and warning that my account may be suspended.

I want to resolve the outstanding balance promptly, but I need AWS Billing Support’s guidance to proceed. Could an AWS representative please help escalate this case? If anyone knows how to escalate an unassigned billing case, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Given the continuing payment failures and risk of suspension, I cannot wait much longer.

Case ID:*************** Thank you for your assistance.

I understand your concern about your billing support case and the urgency of resolving your payment issue. I want to help point you in the right direction.

The best way to follow up on your existing case is to add correspondence directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. When you add a reply to your case, it will notify the support team and help ensure your case receives attention.

For billing and account issues, AWS Support typically prioritizes cases based on the support plan associated with your account. If you're experiencing delays and need faster response times, you may want to review your AWS Support plan options, as higher-tier plans generally provide quicker response times for billing matters.

Given that you're facing potential account suspension due to payment failures, it's important to act quickly through the official support channels. Log into the Support Center, locate your case, and add a detailed update explaining the urgency of the situation and your willingness to pay. This will help ensure your case gets the attention it needs.

For your security, I'd recommend avoiding sharing specific case identifiers or account details in public forums in the future. The AWS Support Center is the secure and most effective channel for resolving billing issues like yours.

I understand the urgency to resolve this payment issue.

I reached out to our internal agents to raise the awareness on your case. Any updates will come over that thread. In the meantime, you can continue to seek updates and ask questions on your case.

Once our teams have fully reviewed your case, they'll be able to provide any further details and guidance.
