SSH for 2 of Amazon Lightsail Ubuntu instances not working!

0

I have been using SSH that comes with Amazon Lightsail for years without any issue with Plesk Ubuntu instances. Started two Ubuntu instances and for both, SSH stopped working. The first instance was started day before yesterday and stopped working yesterday for few hours but did start working later in the day. Today, once again that SSH stopped working, leading me to start a new Ubuntu instance. That too stopped working within few minutes as I was configuring for Docker. Is this issue faced by other users as well?

Hi,

From your other posts, it appears you are using the smallest (512 MB RAM) Lightsail plan size which may not be sufficient to run your applications workload.

Especially it seems you maybe using VSCode which includes extensions that are CPU and other resource intensive.

Please see this rePost for specifics that helped out a community user and sounds very similar to your use-case

You can check the instance's CPU metrics on its Networking tab on the Lightsail console. And also use commands like top etc to figure out which processes might be consuming the most to see if those can possibly be disabled.

Thanks.
