I am charged for S3 usage in free tier

0

I have just created AWS free tier account last month. I just loaded 20 Kb of file in S3 for learning purpose. But after 2 days. When I checked back, I got billed for 0.30 USD. This is unfair in free tier. May I know the reason behind it?

Hi,

Could you check the concept of the charge on the AWS Billing dashboard?

The Amazon S3 free tier includes 5GB of Amazon S3 Standard storage, 20,000 Get Requests, 2,000 Put Requests, and 100 GB of data transfer out (to internet, other AWS Regions, or Amazon CloudFront) per month, in all Regions except the AWS GovCloud Regions, but just during 12 months starting with the date on which you create your AWS account.

If you meet all this requirements, I would recommend opening a support case via the console.

I am not sure you have been charged for that. Check the bill and the exact charge.
