Intermittent "Network Error" with AWS Cognito node SDK

A few hours ago my system's integration with Cognito started failing with a simple "Network Error" message. This integration has been live and working without any issues for over a year now, and there have been no recent code changes or configuration changes in the AWS console; I think it can be a temporary instability on Cognito's side, but AWS status pages are not reporting any issues.

The issue is affecting my users' ability to log in to our platform, how can I confirm it is a Cognito-side issue or if not, how can I find and fix the issue?

UPDATE: All login attempts are now failing with "Network Error" message. I still can't find a reason.
