The difference between an invoice and a tax invoice as displayed on the bills screen

0

Hi, what is the difference between invoices and tax invoices that appear on the bills screen? For example, in October, under the title 'Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL invoices,' there are invoices EUINIL23-512172 (92,417.29$) and credit memo EUCNIL23-20870 (34,239.45$ credit) , and under 'Tax Invoices and Supplemental Documents,' there are VAT invoices with numbers EUINIL23-508487 (2,925$) and EUINIL23-558566 (210,911.40$). What is the difference between the document types and amounts, and what do they signify? Thanks.

Hello,

These docs might have more answers on the difference between invoices received: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/getting-viewing-bill.html & https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/getting-viewing-bill.html#invoice.

If not, I recommend reaching out to our Billing & Accounts team, who can dive deeper to help resolve your ask: go.aws/support-center.
