Hi. In general, for any given API operation, there's a matching CLI operation and matching methods in each of our SDKs. For example, for the IoT UpdateCertificate API operation:
- CLI: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/iot/update-certificate.html
- Python boto3: https://boto3.amazonaws.com/v1/documentation/api/latest/reference/services/iot.html#IoT.Client.update_certificate
- Java: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSJavaSDK/latest/javadoc/com/amazonaws/services/iot/AWSIotClient.html#updateCertificate-com.amazonaws.services.iot.model.UpdateCertificateRequest-
- JS: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSJavaScriptSDK/latest/AWS/Iot.html#updateCertificate-property
- And so on
You can see all of the Java control plane methods here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSJavaSDK/latest/javadoc/com/amazonaws/services/iot/AWSIot.html
Developer guide: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-java/latest/developer-guide/home.html
