Getting the following error when trying to enable transfer acceleration on an S3 bucket that I created and own. I also have full Admin access and full S3 access. I even added the inline policy to my user account that it suggested and I am still running into this error.

Hello.

Can I check the history of the "PutAccelerateConfiguration" action from the CloudTrail event history?
You may be able to see more detailed error information from the history.

  • I don't see anything in CloudTrail for PutAccelerateConfiguration. I tried searching for it using the Event Name option and the option did not populate.

That is the inline policy I have attached to my user account, which was recommended by Amazon Q. However, I am still getting the same error.

Here is the CloudTrail screen I was seeing.

  • It's recorded in the API history in my AWS account. a
Will I get the same error even if I enable it with the AWS CLI command below? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/transfer-acceleration-examples.html

    aws s3api put-bucket-accelerate-configuration --bucket bucketname --accelerate-configuration Status=Enabled
