Bedrock Model access modifications

0

In the Bedrock model access screen, some of my active models that have been granted access are grayed out. I cannot disable them. Can someone help me understand what is going on? I am able to use these models in my client but cannot disable them. Specifically I cannot disable the following since they are grayed out - Titan Embeddings G1 - Text Titan Text G1 - Lite Titan Text G1 - Express Titan Text G1 - Premier Mistral 7B Instruct Mixtral 8x7B Instruct Mistral Large

Hello.

As stated in the documentation below, some models, such as Amazon Titan, cannot be disabled once enabled.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/bedrock/latest/userguide/model-access.html#model-access-remove

You can't remove access from Amazon Titan models, Mistral AI models, or from the Meta Llama 3 Instruct model.

Thanks for pointing that out, I wish I knew this before I enabled them. Now I have no way to remove them from my list of models that I programmatically determine as available.

You can remove access to these models through an identity-based policy that denies access to running inference on a specific model. See the documentation here for more details.
