Greetings everyone . Im getting this ""You have exceeded the allowed number of AWS accounts."" when I'm Trying to create new account. I havent had any accounts other than management account. I know Service limit is 10 accounts. Few days back I received mail stating "your account need to be verified" . What might be the issue ?

Hi,

Have a look at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73356254/aws-organizations-you-have-exceeded-the-allowed-number-of-aws-accounts

It seems that others have had very similar problems like you: same error message while initial limit of 10 not reached.

They solved it by opening a support ticket in AWS console.

Best,

Didier

+1 for the comment above. This would require creating a support ticket as this does not fall in line with limits that are in place natively for the CT service. Here's a list of limits and quotas for AWS Control Tower for reference - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/controltower/latest/userguide/limits.html
