Certificate based authentication in AWS Workspace without AD

Question

I am having almost the same solution as mentioned in this article except I do not have AD, just the IdP for user identity.

I have also configured SAML 2.0 with the AWS managed Microsoft AD for Workspace. I was trying to find any article which would help with my use case but was not successful.

Can anyone guide me with any articles / guide navigating the same please?

AWS managed Microsoft AD is AD.

As part of the setup, you will need to launch a [domain-joined Windows EC2 instance](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/directoryservice/latest/admin-guide/ms_ad_join_instance.html) to setup [certificate services](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/how-to-incorporate-acm-pca-into-your-existing-windows-active-directory-certificate-services/)
