Certificate based authentication in AWS Workspace without AD

I am having almost the same solution as mentioned in this article except I do not have AD, just the IdP for user identity.

I have also configured SAML 2.0 with the AWS managed Microsoft AD for Workspace. I was trying to find any article which would help with my use case but was not successful.

Can anyone guide me with any articles / guide navigating the same please?

As part of the setup, you will need to launch a domain-joined Windows EC2 instance to setup certificate services
