Hi,
You can view all Lightsail offerings and pricing here
The server configuration you selected in the pricing calculator (https://calculator.aws/) is part of our Lightsail For Research
and is meant for running your research applications in the cloud. These can be launched from https://lfr.console.aws.amazon.com/ls/research/webapp/
Please note however that in the calculator, you seem to have selected LfRBundleStop:GPU_XL_16GB which is the price of the server when in stopped state (similar to hibernation) and is not the server's rate when running.
The above research application servers do not typically need a Database.
If however you do need a Database additionally, they can be launched from https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/webapp/home/databases.
The Database are usually paired with Lightsail's regular servers which can be launched from the same above console's Instances
page which you have already found.
The research and regular consoles have slightly differently URLs.
Also, for such Account and billing
help/guidance you can always contact AWS Support under the free support plan.

There is also a link for the Lightsail for Research page on the top navigation bar of the Lightsail page. You can use this link to easily navigate to Lightsail for Research console.
I need to create 100 Wordpress text-based small blog websites. That is the purpose. So which of the following do I use:- https://lfr.console.aws.amazon.com/ls/research/webapp/getting-started https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/webapp/create/instance?region=us-east-2# or is there a better third option?
P.S. Sorry if this sounds ignorant but am new to cloud and AWS is awfully complicated for newbies, apparently.
For Wordpress websites you would use the second one i.e. https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/webapp/create/instance
It provides some plan sizes and options to either use a Bitnami Wordpress (or Bitnami Wordpress Multisite) preinstalled on the server or you can use any of the other similar applications or build your own by using an OS-only option.
Check out some helpful content here as well - https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/projects/wordpress/.
P.S. This community is for that exact purpose: asking and answering questions. No judgement here :)
P.P.S. Lightsail is meant to make getting started with AWS easier. We wish you success.
