Is it possible to create an Oracle RDS Read Replica with a self-managed oracle database as the source?

I’ve never heard of this before. I’m only aware of creating read replicas in AWS from the primary instance.

All I am aware of is exporting and importing from On prem to RDS using a backup/restore process or using AWS DMS to sync the data from on prem to RDS.
