Is there something I am missing? Can anyone please help me on this.

Hello, you could get this error for a couple of reasons depending on the Windows client OS version. Please check here #1 and #2 for the workarounds to resolve this error. Thank you.

Hello,

Greetings for the day!

From the notes I understand that you have created a file gateway in aws with host on esxi joined to your domain. It is joined successfully. But whenever you create a file share with S3 bucket and try to mount on windows machine it returns error 67.

The above error can come because of many reasons. I would suggest you to do the following checks From your Gateway Console:

  1. Please make sure only the users and groups are allowed to mount the share.

  2. Please make sure that the machine must be part of domain you have created.

  3. Also perform the network connectivity test from your client machine from where you are trying to connect must be reachable from Storage Gateway server IP.

  4. Also check if your machine is able to reach S3 endpoints or not "s3.amazonaws.com" on port 443.

  5. Please also check if your S3 bucket is not denying the requests and do also check the Encryption of S3 bucket. If the S3 bucket is KMS encrypted the file share IAM role must have KMS permissions.

Thank you.
