Need Help: i could NOT login as root

I was re-configuring AWS S3 Bucket policy and Accidentally i got locked myself accessing the S3 bucket. So i tried to login as root to delete the s3 bucket policy But i could NOT login as root. I do have Root account credentials and 2FA device and tried resync the device but i am receiving below error.

Authentication failed Your authentication information is incorrect. Please try again.

any help would be appreciated.

You can recover the MFA device by following the procedure described in this document.
