The Offer Product Data Feed is populated based on the relationships between offers and products in AWS Marketplace. When you associate an existing offer with a new product or remove a product from an offer, you create an offer revision. This process affects the Offer Product Data Feed in the following way:
When you associate an existing offer with a new product, a new entry is created in the Offer Product Data Feed for that specific product-offer combination. The offer_revision value for this new entry will be incremented from the previous revision number for that offer.
It's important to note that this action does not create new entries for all previously associated products with that offer. Only the newly added product-offer relationship gets a new entry in the feed.
The offer_revision field, when combined with the offer_id, forms a unique identifier for each offer revision. This allows tracking of changes to the offer over time, including which products are associated with each revision of the offer.
The Offer Product Data Feed is refreshed every 24 hours, so new data becomes available daily. This means that any changes you make to offer-product associations will be reflected in the feed within a day.
Each entry in the Offer Product Data Feed includes the offer_id, offer_revision, and product_id, allowing you to track which products are associated with each version of an offer. This structure enables you to maintain a historical record of how your offers have evolved over time in terms of their product associations.
Remember that one offer can have several products, and one product can be included in different offers. The Offer Product Data Feed captures these many-to-many relationships between offers and products, providing a comprehensive view of your product offerings in AWS Marketplace.
