the same error was throwing for instance creation for all regions in Amazon connect.

User: arn:aws:iam::851725436911:**** Service: securityhub Action: DescribeHub On resource(s): arn:aws:securityhub:ap-northeast-2:851725436911:hub/default

  • Can you please provide any context about what you are trying to do and what exactly is not working as expected?

  • Unable to create an instance in amazon connect for salesforce call center implementation.

  • Is it a Salesforce Cloud Voice or Amazon Connect CTI connector implementation? Depending on the Salesforce option you are using, you may have restricted permissions in your account to perform such operations.

  • I have given the user access to Salesforce but Amazon connect still throws the error. can you guide in creating an instance?

  • Error below is displayed in amazon and mentioned to ask the AWS administrator.

User: arn:aws:iam::851725436911:root Service: servicecatalog Action: ListApplications On resource(s): arn:aws:servicecatalog:us-west-2:851725436911:/applications/*

The provided error indicates that you were attempting to access the AWS Security Hub console with an IAM user that does not have rights to do so. If you are using Service Cloud Voice with Amazon Connect, purchased from Salesforce (which I am assuming since I see root access being blocked), you are blocked from using Security Hub. The process to add a new instance, in that Service Cloud Voice deployment model, is controlled by Salesforce and documented here.
