How long does it take to get assistance through support?

0

I was reading somewhere that I could respect a response in 24 hours, but I still haven't heard on either of my cases. I resolved one because I decided to just do my domain registration elsewhere, but I can't proceed with deploying my application until my account is verified which would enable me to create a CloudFront distribution. It seems like that should be pretty trivial to take care of.

Hello.

For technical support (paid plans), you will receive an initial response from AWS Support within 24 hours.
However, since account and billing inquiries are not covered in the documentation below, it is highly likely that the 24-hour turnaround time does not apply.
If you have already created a support case, it is best to wait for a response.

Response times for AWS Support cases depend on your AWS Support plan and the severity level of your case. AWS offers different support plans (Basic, Developer, Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, and Enterprise) with varying response time commitments. For example, Developer Support typically provides business hours access with response times that can range from 12-24 hours for general guidance, while higher-tier plans offer faster response times including critical issue support with 15-minute response times for Business Critical cases on Enterprise plans. Account verification and service limit increases are common requests that AWS Support handles, though processing times can vary based on the specific request and current queue volumes. If you need faster response times or more comprehensive support, you may want to review your current AWS Support plan and consider upgrading to a plan that better matches your business needs. You can manage your support cases and add any additional information through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. Adding details about your use case or business requirements in your case correspondence can sometimes help support engineers better understand and prioritize your request.

  • I don't feel like "pay us more money" is a satisfactory answer. I just need account verification.

Hello,

Apologies for any delay regarding your account verification. I located your case on my end and shared your concerns internally with Support for review. Cases are handled in the order they're received, so response times can vary. I don't have an ETA on a reply, but continue to monitor your inbox for updates from our team with the next steps to take.
