Simple Email Service (SES) as SMTP Gateway

0

We have a mail server setup on an EC2 instance. Would like to send all our outgoing email through SES but have a couple of issues.

Domains have been verified, and normal mail goes through fine.

Issue 1: Mailing Lists, we host mailing lists (listserv) on our server. IE: list@domain.com If we set the from address to the list, it works fine. However, we have some clients that would like it to show the posters email address in the from field (which does not match the domain) and reply to as the mailing list which then fails as unverified email address.

Issue 2: We have clients that use Alias accounts to forward email IE: sales@domain.com goes to somenone@theirisp.com. This has the same problem as the email is being forwarded with the sender's email address which is not verified.

Is there a way to correct these issues?

Thanks in Advance; Terry
