Direct Connect Public VIF "Prefixes you want to advertise" clarification

1

while configuring AWS Direct connect public VIF, if you add your own public CIDR of /23 (just an example: 4.4.0.0/23) to the "Prefixes you want to advertise", but advertise a /24 (4.4.0.0/24) through the BGP, what would AWS advertise within the region? will it be the longer /23 prefix added or the smaller /24 advertised through BGP? i see a doc on how prefixes work with VPN Gateway and TGW, but not on the public VIF. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/directconnect/latest/UserGuide/allowed-to-prefixes.html

Hello, Thank you for your question. AWS will advertise /24 only. Bcoz that is what was advertised to AWS.
