NON COMPLIANT ASSOCIATION: Compliance section of System Manager

I'm getting some of the resources are non compliant associations. Those Instances are running in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. attaching the screenshot of the failed associations. I tried to install the failed document using the RUN command, but it shows the result as Failure. Failed association

I would suggest you to check the output of the Failed Run Command invocation to determine the reason for failure.

Steps:

  1. Go to Run Command page from SSM console
  2. Click on Command History tab
  3. Search for "Document Name : Equal : (Name of the document executed)"
  4. Open the Command ID and under Targets and outputs section, select the instance id and click on "View Output" button
  5. Open the Output and Error boxes and review the content to understand the failure.

Once you get the error, you can take action accordingly to fix the issue on the affected instances. Please also check following troubleshooting article:
