Cost Optimization Hub - Export Opportunities Report to S3 - Monthly Once

Hello there,

  1. We are using Cost Optimization Hub > View Oppurtunities > Create recurring export to Amazon S3 to export the Savings opportunities in an S3 bucket and this is a daily export.
  2. We need a mechanism to do this only once in a month. Please suggest us a solution involving AWS CLI /API or Lambda function to achieve this?

Hello,

You will use a Lambda function triggered by a CloudWatch Events rule to export the Cost Optimization Hub's Savings Opportunities report to an S3 bucket monthly.
