EBS Volume Upgrade

0

Hello, I upgraded EBS volumes from io2 to io3 and gp2 to gp3 about a month ago. I want to gauge performance and cost savings from the change then to now. What is the best practice in doing so? Thank you

You should compare baseline metrics for IOPS, throughput, and latency using Amazon CloudWatch. Then, you should monitor application performance improvements and leverage the AWS Cost Management Dashboard to evaluate cost differences.

It's important to consider the total cost of ownership by analyzing both performance enhancements and cost reductions over time.
