I would like to know how to delete VPC endpoints that remain after deleting a Serverless Cache in AWS ElastiCache.

When creating a Serverless Cache in AWS ElastiCache, the automatically generated VPC endpoints are automatically deleted when the Serverless Cache is deleted. However, there are cases where the VPC endpoints remain even after all Serverless Caches have been deleted. I would like to inquire about the reasons why the VPC endpoints are not deleted and the methods to forcibly delete them.

Hello.

Does this mean that the VPC endpoint remains even if all ElastiCache Serverless is removed?
Just to be sure, check if there are any remaining Redis and Memcached clusters.

By the way, how long has it been since the cluster was deleted?
I have seen VPC endpoints remaining for about 10 or 20 minutes.
If it's been less than 30 minutes since you deleted it, you might want to wait a little longer.

If it is not deleted even after waiting, there may be a problem on the AWS side, so I recommend opening a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".
Inquiries under "Account and billing" can be made free of charge.
