You can think in a hierarchical fashion about these concepts:

```

The Best Practices will all be influenced and descendant from the Design Principles related to the Pillar and also the general for the Framework itself. Per example:

*PERF01-BP01 Learn about and understand available cloud services and features* is the first best practice. At play here is understand cloud services and features, so it applies the pillar specific principle *Democratize advanced technologies* and we can argue also, *Consider mechanical sympathy*.
