Does ACM support multiple TLS certs for same domains simultaneously?

Prior to expiration of a current TLS certificate (e.g. expires July 1st), I would like to issue a new certificate well in advance but not valid before July 1st. In that way I could pre-release my clients so they can validate to either certificate. Is this possible? If not, what is the recommended approach?

ACM provides managed renewal for your Amazon-issued SSL/TLS certificates. This means that ACM will either renew your certificates automatically (if you are using DNS validation), or it will send you email notices when expiration is approaching. These services are provided for both public and private ACM certificates.

  • Thank you for your response I realize ACM provides renewal services, but your response does not answer my question. ACM also provides a console which allows you to request new certificates. My question is, can I request a second certificate with overlapping validation periods so I can deploy my clients well ahead of expiration of the first certificate?
