So long as they are valid and the client they are using have the appropiate CAs to validate the autenticaty of the issued certiticates, then no. It will not make a difference,
Its only used for Encryption in transit and optionally, the SSL/TLS connection can perform server identity verification by validating the server certificate installed on the database
