AWS Storage Gateway Creation Issue

0

Hello,

I am having an issue trying to deploy an AWS Storage Gateway. I have tried to do the custom settings and the default settings to no avail. With the default settings, the EC2 is automatically created, as is the security group with all of the required ports being allowed so that the instance can be launched and connected to, but it always times out on me. I have checked the security groups and route tables and they are all correct. The screenshots have visual information on this issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • Could you add the images? They are not showing.

  • The images are not uploading in any format other than the one above. I have tried to change the file format to other ones that are accepted and they don't get uploaded in a different way than what is above.

Basically, the whole process works smoothly until I try ot connect to the Storage Gateway and it takes to long to load and I get a "connection failed" webpage.

  • Is this on step 4 of the gateway creation flow?

  • This is on Step 2: Connect to AWS that is is failing on

  • Did you ensure that your EC2 custom instance is configured with the requirements on step 1? There is a size and volume requirement for the instance. What gateway are you trying to create?
