Can we query the metadata in Bedrock just like we query the contents?

What an adventure this is...

I have a Bedrock KB I fed a ton of transcript files and associated metadata which contain the course name, etc.
When I query the KB via Lambda, sometimes it misses obvious things: for example I have a course called 'Coding for kids' and querying 'Learn to code' doesn't return it.

I'm thinking perhaps if I can query the metadata for similarity, then it'd pick it up?

Can we do that? What options do I have? Would I need to create another KB with only the metadata as data?
