Test 1 - Validate EC2 Subnets ... Found region us-east-1 from EC2 instance metadata WARNING: Failed to get EC2 subnets due to WARNING: Please validate instance has 'ec2:DescribeSubnets' permission.

Please help, It fails out each time I run the validator. The instance has full permissions. I'm at a loss on what to do.

    Could you provide more detail about what "the validator" is?

    Thank you for taking the time to comment, we were eventually able to get the validator (the powershell steps that is provided by Amazon to check connection and the like) to fully succeed. But now we are still failing out on the actual File System creation as it throws the error "Amazon FSx is unable to communicate with your Domain Controller". But our Instance is able too and is on the domain currently. (We had to use a VPN but it worked, and validated successfully on the Instance). Thanks In advance.

    I'm still not sure what "the validator" is here - providing a link to it would have been useful. AWS has hundreds of services and thousands of tools. But I'm glad that it is working now. For your ongoing issue, I would create another question (or edit this existing one) and change the tags to FSx.
