SES Sent Email Logs

Hi, I'd like to be able to see a log of where emails are being sent by my Amazon SES service including the body/headers of the emails. Is the only way to do this bu following this guide?: https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/ses-email-sending-history

Also, if I set this up now will it be able to show me logs of emails already sent by the service?

Hello. However, it doesn’t store the content of the emails that you send by default for privacy and security reasons. To log the details of the emails that you are sending, including headers and body, you would need to setup: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/monitor-using-event-publishing.html

    ok thanks, but as a starting point for atleast seeing where the emails have been sent TO, would the guide I mentioned be the only way to do it? And would it show historical data for emails already sent?
