Performance Issues with Mumbai Region Instances

0

Hello,

I am currently experiencing performance issues while attempting to launch instances in the Mumbai region. Specifically, I have deployed various operating systems for testing purposes, but each instance is exhibiting slow responsiveness.

For instance, executing a simple command such as sudo apt upgrade on these instances takes significantly longer than expected—more than 3 minutes for an output. The instances are newly created and are of type r5a.2xlarge.

Interestingly, instances deployed in other regions such as Singapore and Northern Virginia perform without any issues.

Can someone help me to solve this issue.

  • Hi NARRAVULA MUNISAI TEJA,

    Thank you for the response.

I have changed the Time Zone and set the date after your recommendation but it's not working.

Our internet connection is stable, and I have ensured that the operating system is up to date. However, the problem persists despite these measures.

Regarding AWS support, they have indicated that subscription may be required for further technical guidance. As this is a new account and our first server deployment for this customer, it is our understanding that there would not be any cost incurred by the customer at this stage.
