There could be several reasons why your SageMaker instance is stuck in the Pending state. Some possible causes include issues with the underlying infrastructure, networking problems, or issues with the instance launch configuration.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can check the CloudWatch logs for the instance to see if there are any error messages that can provide more information about the failure. Additionally, you can also check the Event history in the SageMaker console for the instance to see if any events have been logged that can provide more information about the problem.
To restart the machine, you can try the following steps:
- Go to the SageMaker console, select the instance that is stuck in Pending state.
- Select Actions and then select Stop.
- Once the instance is stopped, select Start.
If you are unable to stop the instance, you can terminate it and then start a new instance.
Please note that stopping and starting instances will cause data loss and terminate all the running jobs on the instances.
