AWS SES production request case-closed with no reason

1

Case ID: *********800885

Good morning, Been trying for over a month to move from Sandbox to Production. This last request had no reason for the closure of the case. I have the appropriate Identities created with "no recommendations" in that panel. I have provided the "customer needs to give more detail". I'm at a loss.

I've seen "Elle G." and "Aimee K." respond to similar concerns from other customers. Hopefully I can get a human

Much thanks, Jim

I understand your frustration with the production access request process for Amazon SES. When a case is closed without clear explanation, it can be confusing and concerning, especially after working on this for over a month.

For your SES production access request, I'd recommend taking the following steps:

First, review your most recent request to ensure you've included all required information. AWS typically needs to understand your sending use case, including what types of emails you'll be sending, how you obtained your recipient list, how recipients can opt out, and how you'll handle bounces and complaints. Even if you've set up identities correctly, the request review focuses heavily on your email sending practices and compliance with AWS policies.

Since your case was closed, you should open a new correspondence in the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. When you do, be as specific as possible about your use case. Describe your email sending scenario in detail, explain your list management practices, and outline your bounce and complaint handling procedures. If the previous case closure didn't provide specific feedback, ask directly what additional information is needed to complete the review.

If you're finding the response times challenging for your business needs, you might also want to review your AWS Support plan options, as different support tiers offer different response time commitments.

The production access review process is designed to protect the email ecosystem and AWS's sending reputation, so providing comprehensive details about your email practices will help expedite the approval process.

  • In my sandbox to production request, I state the email frequency, email purpose, and transactional aspect of the emails. Need to speak to a human for this.

Actually went with another solution: researched for about an hour and between sign-up to java implementation all was done in 1 hr. AWS SES and their pretentious lifecycle of "due to security we cannot tell you exactly why but read these BS documentation" wasted so much time and money (out of our pockets and into theirs).
