Hi
- Suppression lists might have a delay in updating. It's possible the emails were sent before the address was fully added to the list.
- Check your configuration - Log in to the AWS Management Console and access the Amazon SES console. Navigate to "Configuration" -> "Suppression list". In the "Account-level settings" pane, check if "Enabled" is selected and the chosen suppression reason includes "Bounce".
- If you're using configuration sets for sending emails, ensure none of them have specific settings allowing emails to the suppressed address. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/sending-email-suppression-list.html
