Unable to RDP to Workspace (Resolved)

0

After searching this forum, I've found similar issues but they're either materially different or unresolved.

I'm standing up machines for a client's small business and want to remove Local Administrator privileges for her team so they can't install applications on the VMs. Before doing that, I've attempted to test that I can access their machines if needed, by using username Administrator and the domain administrator password I created with the directory.

I can't actually reach the machines though.

I've added my IP to the test machine's security group under Network Interfaces in EC2, and I've even tried it with "Anyone" permitted. I get an error in RDP that it cannot connect to the machine either because remote access is not enabled, the computer is turned off, or the computer is unavailable on the network. I've run out of ideas here.

I've tested that I can initiate an RDP connection from within the machine itself, though I don't know how significant of a test that is. I've run out of ideas here. Any thoughts?

Was using public IP address indicated in the Workspace details rather than the one from the Network Interface.
