Account verification stuck for 14+ days – CloudShell error – Support case unassigned

0

About a month ago, I created an AWS account for educational purposes, and when I tried to use the CloudShell platform, I got an error message saying that my account was under verification. After two weeks with no progress and no email asking for more information to validate my account, I opened an AWS support ticket so they could help me verify my account, It’s been about four days now with no success. I only have this week to get my account verified for my classes. Please help me.

Here’s my support case ID: ***************

I understand how frustrating it is to have your account verification delayed, especially when you need access for your classes. Unfortunately, account verification processes can sometimes take time as AWS works to ensure account security and compliance.

Since you've already opened a support case, the best course of action is to add correspondence directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. You can provide additional context about your timeline and educational needs, which may help expedite the review.

If you haven't already, make sure you've responded to any verification emails that may have been sent to your registered email address, including checking your spam folder. Sometimes verification requests can be missed.

Additionally, you might want to review your AWS Support plan options, as different support tiers offer different response times. For time-sensitive educational needs, having the appropriate support level can make a significant difference in how quickly issues are addressed.

While waiting for verification, you might also want to check if your educational institution has any existing AWS programs or accounts that could provide you with temporary access for your coursework.
