List of IP addresses in Public IP insights is not updated

0

I have a Django project deployed on Elastic Beanstalk. Since it uses a load balancer by default, public IPs were assigned for it and I was being charged even when I am on free tier. At this stage, I do not need a load balancer, so I updated the beanstalk configuration to just use a single instance. But the "Public IP insights" section still shows those IP addresses associated with a load balancer.

I also checked if use any load balancer as resources and I do not. So, I am confused why I am still being shown those public IPs.

Hello,

To release Elastic IP addresses allocated in your AWS account:

Go to EC2 service console-> Under Network & Security -> Elastic IPs. Click on the IPs to release and actions-> Elastic IP addresses.

Hope this helps!

  • I checled this and it has only one IP address which is attached to the EC2 instance and it will probably be used.

Though the address there and the one in public IP insights page is different, so I am not sure why is that the case.
