Sign up for AWS Educate:
Use your educational institution's email address or join through your institution's portal to sign up for AWS Educate.
Verification and Approval:
AWS Educate will verify your student status or affiliation with the educational institution. This verification process can take some time, usually ranging from a few minutes to a few days.
Accessing Credits:
Once your AWS Educate application is approved, you will receive access to AWS Promotional Credits. These credits will be automatically added to your AWS account associated with AWS Educate.
Redeem Credits:
- Log in to your AWS Management Console.
- Navigate to the AWS Billing and Cost Management Dashboard.
- Go to the "Credits" section or "Billing Preferences" to apply the credits towards eligible AWS services.
- Follow the prompts to redeem and use the credits for your AWS usage.
- Check Communication: Keep an eye on your email associated with AWS Educate for any notifications or instructions regarding your account approval and access to credits.

I already have a AWS account for private use (created a couple of months ago). Can I use this one to get the 300$ credit or it has to be educational account etc ?
