Hello.
I suspect that EC2 is not included in the 50k because it does not support full management with AWS Backup.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/aws-backup/latest/devguide/metering-and-billing.html#metering
When a resource type supports full AWS Backup management, charges for AWS Backup activity (including storage, data transfers, restores, and early deletion) appear in the "Backup" section of your Amazon Web Services bill. For a list of services that support full AWS Backup management, see the Full AWS Backup management section in the Feature availability by resource table.
When a resource type does not support full AWS Backup management, some of your AWS Backup activity, such as storage costs for your backups, might be and billed by the respective AWS service.
Just to be safe, I think it would be a good idea to open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".

in the answer i see storage is part of not full and full backups management. what i understand is that when we consider EC2 AWS backups internally it will create EBS snapshots of associated Ec2 instances which will show the costing in BILLING reports and same thing with EBS AWS backups .... so costing case be seen in BILLING reports which are considered be to not full backups management with AWS.
