How to achieve data replication between two DBs with no connection between two accounts

0

I'm reading the user guide for AWS DMS and in particular there is this point

Create source and target endpoints that have connection information about your data stores. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/dms/latest/userguide/CHAP_Introduction.HighLevelView.html

My use case is to send database replication or snapshots from one AWS account A to another AWS account B. The issue is that the two accounts cannot be connected and I'd preferably send it through the AWS network/backbone. But from this quoted point from the user guide, my impression is I cannot use AWS DMS whatsoever.

The two DBs are AWS RDS postgres databases.

This re:Post answer could be an option, though I recommend reading through the limitations listed. https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/rds-snapshots-share-account
