CloudFront account verification pending for 9 days – Support case still unresolved

0

Hello AWS Team,

I am currently unable to create an Amazon CloudFront distribution because my AWS account is showing the following error:

“Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources. To verify your account, please contact AWS Support.”

I already created an AWS Account & Billing / Customer Service support case for this issue approximately 9 days ago.

I have also followed up on the existing support case and requested escalation to the appropriate Account Verification / Account Security team.

However, the issue is still unresolved and CloudFront resource creation remains completely blocked.

This is currently blocking deployment of our application, where we need CloudFront in front of our S3 origin.

Could an AWS employee or re:Post moderator please help route or escalate the existing case to the appropriate AWS account verification team?

I am ready to provide any required account ownership, billing, identity, business, or payment verification information through the private AWS Support case.

AWS Support Case ID: ******* I will not share any confidential account information publicly here.

Thank you.

*Edit: Removed case ID — Ben G.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about your account.

I reviewed your support case and shared your concerns internally for review.

Continue to monitor your case for updates: http://go.aws/support-center.

I understand how frustrating it is to have your CloudFront distribution creation blocked by an account verification requirement, especially when it's impacting your application deployment timeline. Account verification issues can sometimes take time to resolve as they involve security and compliance checks.

Since you've already opened a support case through the AWS Support Center, that is the correct channel for resolving account verification issues. The support team handling your case has access to your account details and can work directly with the appropriate internal teams to complete the verification process.

To help move things forward, I'd recommend adding a new correspondence to your existing case through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. In your update, you can:

  • Reiterate the business impact of the delay on your application deployment
  • Confirm your readiness to provide any additional verification documentation they may need
  • Ask for a status update on what specific verification steps remain

While waiting for verification to complete, you might explore whether there are any temporary workarounds for your application architecture, though I understand CloudFront may be essential for your use case.

The support team working on your case is your best path to resolution, as they can coordinate directly with the account verification team and have access to all the necessary tools and information to complete the process.
