I understand you're experiencing recurring charges and need help identifying which AWS account is associated with your credit card. Here's how you can locate and address this issue:
To locate your AWS account:
-
Check your email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for AWS correspondence. Look for emails from AWS containing invoices, billing notifications, or account-related messages. These emails will show the account ID and registered email address.
-
If you have multiple email addresses, check all of them for AWS-related correspondence.
-
Try signing into the AWS Management Console at https://console.aws.amazon.com using email addresses you may have used to create accounts. If you don't remember your password, use the password reset option.
To stop the charges:
Once you've identified your account, sign in to the AWS Management Console and:
- Review the AWS Billing Dashboard to see which services are generating charges
- Terminate any active resources (EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 buckets with storage, etc.)
- Check for resources across all AWS regions, as resources in any region can incur charges
If you cannot locate your account:
You can contact AWS Support directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/ if you can access any AWS account. Alternatively, you may need to contact your credit card company to dispute the charges or request additional transaction details that could help identify the account.
For future reference, AWS sends monthly billing notifications to the email address registered with your account, so reviewing your email history should help you identify the account.

Hello Bilal,
FYI, for security and privacy reasons, aws support can not look up or disclose the account ownership, account ids, or registered root mail based solely on credit card number or transaction reference that you have shared as this is the strict policy to protect aws customers from unauthorized account take over attempts. So, account look up itself needs to be done through verified channels not through public medium.
Please follow following steps in best ways: Since you don't have your aws account id/mail, use the "I don't have an AWS account" billing inquiry path:
- go to https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/aws-account-support
- Search a option for billing questions when you can't sign in / don't recognize the account
- Instead, use the general billing contact form: https://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/aws-billing-inquiries/
AWS Billing Support has internal tooling to match a payment method/transaction reference to an account. They will typically ask you to verify:
- Last 4 digits of the card
- Exact charge amount and date
- Order/reference ID which you already have
- Probably, government ID or billing address match, depending on the verification use cases required.

Hi,
I want to make sure you get the help you need. As we're unable to discuss cases or accounts via this platform, please reach out to our Account & Billing team directly. I'm so sorry for the concern.
If you don't have access to your AWS accounts, use this form: go.aws/support-center . No login needed.

I don't know which email address it is; I had multiple accounts and I can't access them.
