I understand you're experiencing a prolonged delay with a Route 53 nameserver update. While I can provide general guidance about DNS propagation timelines, I'm unable to directly access or escalate specific support cases, operation IDs, or account-specific issues.

Typically, when you change nameservers associated with a domain registration, DNS resolvers cache nameserver information for up to 2 days, which can cause your domain to be temporarily unavailable during the transition. However, a 19-day delay is significantly longer than expected.

For your specific situation with an unassigned support case on the Basic plan, I recommend:

  1. If you have access to AWS Support through your account, try creating a new support case or following up on the existing case through the AWS Support Center console
  2. Check the AWS Health Dashboard for any service issues that might be affecting Route 53
  3. Verify that the nameserver update request was properly submitted and there are no pending actions required on your end

Since the Basic support plan has limitations on case handling and response times, you may want to consider upgrading to a higher support tier (Developer, Business, or Enterprise) if you need faster resolution and direct case assignment for time-sensitive issues like this.

For immediate domain functionality, ensure your domain registrar has the correct nameserver information configured while this issue is being resolved.

  • I have checked everything as you suggested. I created a ticket on support portal but they did not assign it yet because of my support plan is basic. I have also chacked Health Dashboard and there is no any recent issues. I also have checked the nameserver update request and there are no pending actions required. This domain is registered in Route 53 and I created a new host in Host Zones in Route 53. But the previous hosting was a different platform.
