GENERIC_INTERNAL_ERROR: Row type must have at least one parameter

I have connected MongoDB to Athena using inbuilt lambda connector (federated query). Getting this error : "GENERIC_INTERNAL_ERROR: Row type must have at least one parameter" while querying one of the tables which has a nested property. This nested property is null in some of the rows.
