Age is just a number, you can start learning AWS cloud from any age. I have mentored lot of college graduates and people switching career from different field. I always tell my students, certifications are not the gateway to secure a job, certificates are just for validating your knowledge.

  1. The best place to start by registering at AWS skill builder website https://skillbuilder.aws/ . Where you can advance your professional goals with access to 600+ free courses, gain experience in an AWS Management Console sandbox, explore game-based learning, take AWS Certification Official Practice Exams, and more.

  2. Gain hands on experience with AWS curated workshops https://workshops.aws/

  3. Create a AWS account and utilize AWS free tier services to try and test your learning from above material.

  4. One you gain enough knowledge and confidence validate your knowledge by preparing for exams.

There are lot more ways like attending webinars, community events etc, list is endless.

Let me know if it is of any help.

Thanks, Abhishek

Hi, I would suggest you to register to AWS SkillBuilder: https://skillbuilder.aws/ 1'000s of trainings for free.

Search for 'badge' when logged in: passing the exam at end of those trainings will earn you an AWS Skill Badge certified on Credly (to publish on your LinkedIn , etc.)

Best,

Didier

Hello.

The premise of this re:Post forum site is that it is a place to discuss problems with AWS services.
Please understand that your question may not be adequately answered by re:Post.

Not a very direct answer, but knowledge of networking and operating systems is essential to use AWS and other clouds.
So it is good to study for the CCNA.

In addition to certification, it would also be useful to create a portfolio of actual AWS services and conduct hands-on activities.
Hope you can work as an IT engineer in the future.
