Is it possible to use Redshift Serverless as a data source in managed Grafana. Grafana can't seem to find it, although the workgroup is tagged with GrafanaDataSource: true

Hello,

In this context, I understand that you are attempting to add Redshift serverless as a data source while connecting to AWS Managed Grafana.

I would like to inform you that, Redshift Serverless is not yet supported as a datasource for Amazon Managed Grafana workspaces as the Redshift plugin being used currently is 1.7.0 version. Whereas, Redshift Serverless support is introduced for Redshift plugin >= 1.8.3 version.

I understand that having support to connect for Redshift Serverless cluster will be beneficial and helpful for you as well as other customers.

Having said that, I would like to inform you that there's an active feature request in place with our Amazon Managed Grafana service team for Redshift serverless to be supported on Grafana in the future.

Unfortunately, we do not have visibility into the development workflow and it is difficult to provide ETA on any of our upcoming features since every request is evaluated through different validation processes and teams.

I would encourage you to keep an eye out on these [1][2] [3] pages for our upcoming features, updates, announcements, and releases.

I appreciate your understanding on this and please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience this limitation/issue is causing within your environment.

Thank you and have a nice day!
